Spotted this one from the road today as I was heading to a spot. It was about 75 yards off the road. Didn’t find any on my walk. Lol

Finally on the board!
Took the afternoon off to get the kids, wife, and pup out of the house on this nice day.
Found the bigger one within the first 3 minutes of looking.

Those baby spikes are the hardest to find. Nice one!

Have found a couple while taking stands down last week but was finally able to get out and actually look for a couple hours today. The best social distancing kinda day.
Saw lots of deer and deer sign,two bucks still had both sides on.

I'm embarrassed to post now. Fantastic day Boarhead!

I did make it out today. Walked a trio of properties I hunt plus a no hunting property that adjoins. They let me shed hunt or recover deer there. I did call ahead to confirm. Found one. A deer I have history with from the stand. 20" main beam. 8.5" g2. Nice young deer. Much like many in the area. Be lucky to ever see 140". Weak brow tines. Narrow spread. Shorter g3s. Seems to be a local genetic normal frame.

What a great day Brian!!! Shows how it’s not how many properties you walk but the quality of a property you have access too and it’s location. Love that last pic with them on the log. Could the far left shed and the 3rd shed from the left be a set? Sure looks like it to me..
