You been taking all your medication Mountaineer?

I most certainly don't hunt coyotes out of greed! You are crazy on this idea man.......

if you want a real challenge why don't you hunt your firearms season with a traditional bow? I mean, anybody can shoot one with a gun......

He must not be capable of doing so since he is ignoring us

Fellows..

Ive spent alot of time in the BitterRoots of Idaho 20 years ago...I actually lived back in them mountains for over 4 months. Even then..20 years ago..before the wolves..there were very few elk.

Im not saying the wolves are not effecting the populations but once again..the blame must be put on man for not allowing the wolves to be hunted.

Weapon of choice is irrelevent.

My personal opinion is ..The best chance at a deer is with a bow...far far easier then with a gun.

I would bet all the money i have that Just about all of you would prefer to hunt in bow season. Why?..Because its easier:)

Get the fuck out of here man! I bowhunt because of the solitude it provides for me......I don't have to see the orange army and roadhunters driving around like pirhanas circling a chicken in the water. It sure as hell isn't easier. I'll tell you what is easy......putting the crosshairs of my scope on a buck and pulling the trigger on the muzzleloader....that's about as easy as it gets.

I would be willing to bet you that I have taken down more whitetails than you with bow and gun.....

Just when I thought it wouldn't happen, it did........

What differnce does it make what weapon you have in your hand if the deer are not moving? The bottom line is..The deer move more in daylight hours in bow season..I see 10 times more deer in Bow season compared to gun season. Gun season is a nightmare.

Its not what weapon one has in his hand but rather the state of mind of the deer.

I would much rather hunt in bow season. The deer are relativly calm..A hunter has chances at them every single day and as the season progresses..the hunting even gets better(RuT).

Gun season is such an immdeiate disturbance to the woods that the deer go nocturnal instantly..deer movement shuts down.

Its not about weapon choice but rather the chances of putting a deer in the sight pin or the crosshairs...I would say the chances of putting a mature buck in the pin sights is much greater in bow season then iputting the crosshairs on a mature buck in gun season.

Its funny mountaineer that you speak of greed. Do you not travels several hours to come hunt Ohio deer bucks? You could hunt close to where you live, save time and gas, but you choose to come up here for a chance at a bigger buck???
