Stars aligned for me to make one last hunt. I'd planned to take the afternoon off to stay with the girls while my wife does some birthday stuff, but lucked into a babysitter (cousin going through a bad breakup wanted to hang with them), so I'll be in a tree pretty shortly. Perfect N wind, which we haven't had here for a while despite the polar blast. Anything with spots, antlers or a brown coat is in trouble! 2

Got a doe in the cut corn already. Snuck around here and sitting at bottom of stand waiting for train to come by so it’ll cover any noise I make from stand creaking
