I saw a fox squirrel mis a branch and fall 20 feet into a thicket

[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] now that’s hilarious to watch. Had a black squirrel do that and he just let out a screech on the way down, bounced off the ground than got up and ran off. Fuggars are like cats.

Must be the morning for follies. Had a nice 8 dogging a doe on the other side of a 5' woven wire fence. She went under, he tried to go over and biffed it. He stood in one spot for 5 minutes trying to make sure no one saw it. Been slow other than that.

Little buck came in about 8:30 and bedded down dead straight away 30 yds. In front of my stand. Not a stick between us. I have been pinned for almost an hour. About froze Couldn’t stand it anymore. Busted him and some deer behind me when I moved. Think I’ll drive over east tonight if the wind starts blowing the right way.

While out back the wife text me about a buck and doe in the yard. I slowly worked my way out of the woods and seen them bedded down right next to the house. He’s a beautiful looking 2.5 year old 8 point. I have zero complaints about him sticking it to the local does that hang out here!

They didn’t even stand up as I walked 45 yards past them.

Currently watching the same 2 bobcat kittens I saw a couple weeks ago sun themselves on a downed tree across the holler from me. Too cool.

Very cool. That is what it is all about.

I'm live from the recliner now. Hot coffee sure is a nice contrast to the cold I was in this morning.

My dad shot a nice buck this morning but he said he hit him high in the shoulder. The arrow didn't pass through and the blood is extremely sparse for 75 yards and then it dissapears. Any thoughts on what we should do? Is the shot fatal?
