Bad signal here. I got in the pine savannah to hang a stand where there was nothing but wallows and mud trails last year. Hardly any sign here this year. I'm going to hold on to that stand for better sign. Alex and his buddy Jason went further down and walked in and jumped 4 right off the bat without a shot.

Chance and them got on some this morning but the wind is back and forth right now

Successful opening day boys. Saw 12 only connected with this old boy. Worked for him. Put on about 5.5 miles today and shot this lil booger at about 8/9 yards. Didn’t go 2 feet lol! 120ish lbs! I will update more tomorrow! Been a long couple of days!

That's what they want. But hunters don't often kill just to kill things they enjoy hunting.
Groundhogs, prairie dogs, barn sparrows, yotes, chipmunks, coons just to name a few and I would think wild hogs would too that list though.
If it were me I’d kill first then work on how to get him out later if at all, if it’s legal to do the latter. A big hog does more damage than a small one right? I’ve never hunted them or know much about them so I’m just asking. Florida is constantly being over taken by invasive animals. Passing on one to hope to kill another seems to me as not being a very effective method. Just saying.
