@Fletch I know you said legally they have to be 100 yards from the bait. So if you had an area where the terrain would work could you set up at like 105-110 yards and just shoot them at the bait?

Just took a ride to check out another spot and almost hit a bear with the truck... No reports till tonight from them I'm sure....

Went and checked another spot that I hung a camera on last Thurs... Figured I'd have a spot to go to if I decide to go Thurs. Fri. or Sat. Also a spot they could fill a deer tag at if they score on a bear early... Had a few does, one small bear and a pretty decent one on the cam.... Hung a cellular cam there today....

Day 1- seen 2, at 6:32 p.m I seen at 300# + boar, I know it was a boar because I could see his dick swing at 52 yards. I have a 50 pin , but did not feel comfortable taking the shot because of several reasons. He proceeded to walk away another 20 yards up the hill and scratched his back on a sapling on two legs. Second bear came in during legal shooting time but to dark to shoot for me ethically. Bear was broad side at 17 and 13 yards but was smaller and felt like it could be one of the older Cubs still with their mother. I estimate it weighed around 150#.
Day 1 ...skunked.
