Would it be feasible to either put some dead falls or a fence up to block that line of travel and “steer” them where you’d like them to travel?
Anything is feasible if a feller wants to work hard enough. You're talking about a 200+ yard wide section that's presumably seeing the same travel. That's on this side of the drainage. There are two more stretches 150 yards wide that are very similar to this. On this particular spot, I'd love to clear-cut it as it's south-facing and I know we would get some great regeneration of oaks and native grasses. Wouldn't solve the travel pattern, but it sure would make for good habitat!

Just took a little front to get them moving. Two new bucks in the inventory last night, joining The Funky Fork, who is still making his rounds. The race is on to claim our place as their own.

Tough to tell in these washed out IR pics, but I'm 99% sure this is the same buck and he's old enough to get shot. In the first pic from this AM, he's standing in the scrape where I killed my buck last year. In the second scrape from Monday night, he's walking past a red oak where I have sticks hung for a S or W wind. I'll be on this ridge Saturday night and Sunday AM. Could get real interesting this weekend.

Jesse have you tried the HD picture request on pics like that? Curious if it is any better quality. I haven't had a pic yet I felt worthy of getting a HD of.
Yep. Got a bunch of them and the pics directly off the card are even better. It doesn't solve the IR wash out issue as bad lighting is bad lighting even in HD. I don't need magazine quality photos on my phone. Just a good trigger and enough to know buck or doe, good buck or no?
