Hunting a scrape line this morning as it the only place we have daytime movement. Target buck was cruising around 6:15 this morning, so of course he's probably asleep by now. Lol
On doe patrol, with one particular one in mind. I love creek bottoms, so I elected to sit here. I can scout a good bit of the farm from here too. Eerily calm right now, however.

I’ve been in the back yard tree stand since 6. It is very crunchy out here too. I heard a couple long grunts before the sun came up and had two deer close as the sun came up. Couldn’t see what they were.
I’ll be at it all day. If not much happens here I’ll move a couple miles down the road mid day and stay there until dark. Good luck guys!

Went to a different spot this morning with a good buddy. Got settled in at 6:40. Still darkish but once settled I could hear footsteps crunching leaves but couldn’t see anything. 7:00 rolls around and I hear foot steps again. I look over my shoulder and there is a lone doe. Hoping for a shot she completely goes the opposite direction towards the ridge. I’m thinking f***. Once she gets to the ridge she stops and stand there for 15 minuets (seemed like forever)Finally she turns back around and heads right towards me. I stopped her at 15 yards and let her have it. She made it about 30 yards and expired lol. Picture will be up later!

Been slow so far. Had a doe come running though around 6:45 with nothing on her tail. Just had a spike come by 5 mins ago.

I had big hopes today....but we did have a big moon last night. Nothing moving thus far.

The big one from last weekend came back. He hung out 40 yards away again with no shot. He stood there for about 15 minutes then just slowly walked away.
Good luck everyone ! I'm already going thru withdrawl. I looked out the bedroom window 1st thing & a buck was chasing a doe around.
