Ouch...

Looks like you are having a good year so far!

I've read a lot about the damage done by holding fish, have you seen any of those write ups? A couple of those pics look to be right on the edge is why I ask. It could be the angle though.

Ya I've seen those write ups and stuff. From what I've seen and my own experiences it doesn't hurt them until they are around 3 lbs or bigger, but I could be wrong. I try to take care of the fish I catch so let me know if you see me doing something wrong. I see what you are talking about now that I look back at some of the pics though. All of them have shut their mouths and swam off fine so far this year but I'll make sure I'm careful with the big ones so I don't break the jaws

I can tell you have a lot of respect for the fish, and I didn't see anything wrong. Keep on keeping on man!

Thanks for sharing that article, don't think I'd read that one yet.

Hit a spillway after school for a few hours tonight and caught four little bass. I also went pond fishing last night and caught a couple little guys. Here was the biggest one today.

Ya this weather has put a damper on my fishing for sure. We hit Salt Fork for a couple hours last Saturday before the hurricane hit and my buddy got one little one but it was really slow. I might go pond fishing for catfish or carp this afternoon but I ain't sure yet.
