How do you get 44# fish if you eat all the small ones?Congrats on the fish. I honestly hate to hear a 44" got ate instead of getting put back to fight another day. We only eat 10# and below. Great fish though man congrats!
How old is a typical 35-40 pound flathead?
I guess they are rare then.Depends on location but for Ohio I would say at least 10 years. More likely 15ish.
