I’ve watched the dogs in question rip the lateral claw from the rear hoof of a doe. She was indeed running for her life.

Start calling the sheriffs dept and then the wildlife officer for the county. At least get it officially documented. That way if they come after you, there’s a paper trail

Get some neon orange paint and paint one of these on each side of dog.... works like a charm. So I’ve been told..

I would certainly call the law a few times first to report and document the problem. the county dog warden may be more useful than you think. If I couldn't get any results taking the high road, I would be inclined to take matters into my own hands, especially if a stray dog showed me an iota of aggression on my own property.
