Just Ric to pick up his deer. lmao

Seemed like deer head numbers were down this year. Although it was plenty busy Saturday, I was there from early morning to late afternoon. Didn't seem as busy as in years past. I suppose I could blame it on the weather, acorn crop, or dead squirrels on the roads.

I saw M Rex and that was all. Picked up a turkey call, an owl hooter and those ratchet pruners near the front.

I think the allure of OBB is gone and people just don't care to enter em anymore .

As far as the expo goes . If it wasn't for people having cabin fever no one would go n 10 yrs ago it was just ok . Now by the time you pay for everything its a over priced circus .

170's I believe and it was killed by a women. A young boy killed a massive 166" that really impressed me TOO.

The women's deer might have been 180 Chad, it was mounted on a mahogany pedestal.

Congrats Ric! Did you guys happen to see the two bucks in the corner that were killed by the same guy? Taxidermy was horrible on them.

Thanks guys! Chad, I saw em all and can't remember them as there were so many. The dude that killed the big NT and had his hero shot taken in his living room was priceless!

Thanks again guys!

Here are a few pics I took. Brian(Boarhead) texted me, "hey, my buddy said they're having a shed contest this year and he saw one scoring 96", check it out for me."

Guess what I was standing and gawking at precisely the exact moment? :smiley_coolpeace:

The typical 96" is on the left and the NT on the right measured 101". Not TOO shabby!:smiley_coolpeace:

This set scored over 198":

This typical set scored 182" and change

A guy at one of the booths promoting a high fence hunt let me take a pic of Karissa holding these massive and heavy bones! He said they belonged to a buck around 220" range.
