Good stuff everyone!

We have always thrown in a "breakfast" for dinner every now and then. Loved it when I was a youngin and I think ours love them as well....:pickle:

surf and turf. very nice J1M

home made tomato basil bisque with home canned tomatoes. grilled sammies of home made bread with lacey swiss, American cheese and some thinly sliced smoked parmesan sausage fresh from the smoker. T&T to wash it down. I'm currently suffering from a mild case of Stendhal Syndrome...

Must I also say FRIED SPAM AND EGGS....:pickle:

Our families favorite way to make Spam is the way our mom did way back in the 60's to present day.

Fry it in butter like most do but mix brown sugar and yellow mustard into a brownish dark paste and add to frying spam till it makes a gooey sticky and bubbly sauce. Continue frying till both sides are crisp and done then lay two slabs side by side on a slice of bread for a sandwich then spoon some of the sauce onto the slices before adding the top slice of bread. The perfect side with this is Kraft Mac&Cheese. This is a cheap dinner for a family of 4.

To make paste start with 1 cup of brown sugar and a generous squirt or two of yellow mustard. Mix till it's a brown and gooey paste.

Let me know what you think if you try this. Our girls love it!
