When I got the tundra I put an extang tonneau cover on it just like I did when I had my Z71 and F150. They were a good fairly priced cover that withstood the Ohio weather and kept my bed contents outta sight of dirtbags....
Well to say I wasn’t happy with the latest version is an understatement. Snaps popping off the cover and sticking too the button was a problem. The inserts on the bows coming out of the bows was another. The ultimate I’m done with this cover is when I called customer service and the guy told me to just take a center punch and hammer and just reset the dimple to hold them in place SMDH....
When I called the third time for more snaps and buttons they told me this was it, no more replacements... I had two other covers without a lick of problems and all of a sudden I’m the problem.... Fuck em....

Fast fwd I looked on line and liked the Tri-Fold LUND Genesis cover. No snaps and it can be installed in less then 5 minutes... LUND has a good rep and people say good things about them, hopefully I’ll do the same 😂

6.0 Powerstroke, 207.000 miles. $10k. Good shape. A friend of mine is selling. I need a truck about 15-20 times per year. Should I go kick the tires?

I’m not a rent or lease type of guy, but it might fit your needs. My old man has done it for years and it makes sense for him. He’s had a truck payment since around 96’ for under $300 a month. He’s never changed a wiper or done anything besides oil changes and fuel. He’s currently in a 2019’ Ram, Crew Cab, 4x4 with a bunch of options and a V-6. 26 mpg

15,000 miles a year on his lease and he just traded it in every 2.5 years, gives them $1,500 and never has to worry about a thing.

I’m a gambler. Been bulletproofed, annual oil filmed, new brakes, shocks, batteries, alternator, u joints, and heated mirrors. My friend is meticulous about his vehicles. He’s owned it for 3 years and put 13,000 miles on it and did all the recent maintenance. He bought it to pull his 30 foot camper. No oil drippings under it as it’s garage kept.

He said he will come get me if it ever breaks down. I gave him $9k today. It needs tires and a less worn driver’s seat.

She’s clean except for the driver’s seat....been farted on too many times. Deral has tried it out for the past 3 years meanwhile maintaining it. It’s a stocker. Was Bulletproofed before his purchase. I am 3rd owner with Bill of sales and all expense receipts. I even have the original purchase agreement when new. Everything Deral owns is top notch and stellar. Anyways, I just sold a Datsun 240z for $3k I had laying around the garage so I only have to personally finance my impulse buy internally for $6k at the end of the day. I have AAA insurance plus the....”Hey Deral...she broke down and come and get me” guarantee. I’m feeling pretty decent about my first full sized truck purchase. Beats $70k. I’ll bring her home on a good day when Deral has it all polished up.
