The TOO dump thread

I received a letter in the mail informing me that i did not get the job i was hoping and praying that i did. Really bummed about it.

 
Broke my toe yesterday. My nephew was pushing my daughters big riding car through the living room fast as hell, as I walked around the corner to see what all the commotion was all about, my foot swing forward against the car being wrecklessley operated, and OUCH! FUGG! SHIT! HOLY MOTHER OF HELL! Just instantly knew it was broke. Nothing you can do for them. my wife, the n urse, gets home and argues telling me it aint broke, telling me she is a nurse and she would know. I politely said "I dont give a fugg if your a brain surgeon, it's broke". So naturally, while putting dishes away last night, I dropped a mixing bowl as square on that particular toe as one could get. I honestly envisioned my Dad laughing at me cuz we are sick bastards and always laughed at eachother when shit like this happens, haha
 
The oldest puked in the toilet after dinner, the middle girl puked three times last night.

Today is going to be a long day....brewing coffee and staying at the pile of laundry that note need done along with the other stuff that needs cleaning.

 
Yeah. Lost the water heater and blower motor on the furnace in the same day. Swapped out the water heater today and thanks to some replacement part identification and troubleshooting help from hoytmania the blower motor and cap will be here tomorrow.

PS. The price for water heaters post fed regulation is highway robbery! 350 for a 50 gal electric.

And no I didn't forget the tap for the refrigerator. Lol.
 
Yeah, replaced my hot water tank (gas) last summer.... Highway robbery.....

I'll probably change out the updraft blower motor on my furnace this summer as well.... It's been a little loud of late....

Good ole amazon. I called around to a few local hvac places and they all wanted $300+ for the motor. Picked one up from amazon $80 to my door. I mean I understand a man's gotta eat and all but damn. I could see that being the parts price on a service call when a person is in a bind and needs heat, but for a straight out sale make your 20% and call it a good day.

Yep, don't begrudge anyone making a living but when you're trying too retire on a single job..... No way....


 
So with the warmer weather I was at Walmart and decided to pick up some veggie seeds to start.... Had a handful of Burpee seeds in my hand and thought let me check out the date on the packs.. They all said packaged in INDIA... Like WTF.. Put them back and will order from another seed company online. What the hell do they know about tomatoes in India???
 
Ok... Bitch number two... Going to Illinois this week to shed hunt and do a little scouting.. Got a lady coming to hunt in the fall so wanted TOO throw up another ladder stand for her while I was out there.. So last Tues. I ordered one from SPORTSMANS GUIDE... Never got a tracking email so I called Thurs... Rep said its going out today... Fri. comes and goes and still no email... Called Fri. afternoon and rep said its going out today and will be there Monday. Well here it is Sat. and still no tracking number and order says in process on their web site. Well if it aint there Mon. the shit is going to hit the fan... And a friend said to join their buyers club, get the discount, then cancel it before 30 days... Well I don't do that stuff.. Its like going to Home Depot and buying a tool and returning it when your done with it... Not the American Way!!!!
 
Kinda upset me last night. I was down the road having a couple beers at the hog barn with a few guys. The one dude had the balls to ask me to use my disability "advantages". I politely said no and laughed it off. But it pissed me off...it was stupid and over a campsite, but still the point.
