My brother shot this one last night. No blood. Went back this morning, he stood up from his bed, bro missed the first shot, reloaded and shot him in the neck. That's all he could see in the tall grass.

That first shot reminds me of the Hunting Public video I watched last night. Jake hit the buck slightly forward and just high of center with a bow. It ended up being a one-lung hit. They filmed that deer for a long time, and you kept waiting for it to fall any minute, but it powered through it. As we all know, they are tough ass creatures!
Not that this is a great place to share these, but I think this one fits in well to start the season off. EHD already teaching us tons this year!
Good luck to all heading out tomorrow for opening day! Hope to see some good views in this thread this weekend. I won't be in due to temps and wind direction, imagine I'm not the only one, so some of ya have to carry us thru!
