Found this yesterday in a creek bottom while doing a walk about. It has a hole about 1/2” deep in the center. I need to check out the creek bottom come turkey season to look for arrow heads. The hole is smooth and I was thinking it was some kind of tool used with a stick for friction.

I’ve found some things similar over the years. I’m sure they were used for something just don’t know what. I loved walking plowed fields in the spring. Now everyone around here is going no-till. I haven’t walked a field in years.
Very cool find. I have not had much luck walking creeks.

Found some cool stones over the years... Went hunting the other day and found a brand new bag with new hammers an chisels laying on the woods trail... Could see numerous rocks that were moved and some split in pieces.... My guess is someone was looking for fossils.... I left the bag and tools where I found them as Im sure someone was out a couple $$$$...
