What about a dog with no Fuggs given? Zero desire to please, zero desire for attention. Food driven is all. Stubborn ass will do anything you ask if you have the treat jar. If not, he’s deaf! Doesn’t even lift his head when you call his name😡
Use the treats for teaching, but once he's old enough it's time to show him who's boss. Better get that under control soon or he's gonna be a pain in the ass for a long time. There's one command that should be black and white, clear as day, absolutely NO exceptions... And that is "come" or "here."

Oakley doesn’t do shit unless you have the treat jar. 16 weeks and 48 lbs...it’s time. I’ll have the time next week to make sure the main lessons are learned. Fat bastard...

Otis has been totally freaked out since yesterday. He was with me heading back from Logan. Stopped to pick up my 2018 buck. Mike opened the door to the shop and Otis threw it in reverse. He was like "Dude! There are a bunch of dead things in there!" Got him over that. He was in the shop very sketchy. Loaded him in the truck. Put the deer mount in the bed. He normally rides like a champ. Lays down in jump seat of the Tacoma. Just chills. He spent half the ride back home staring in the bed of the truck. Poor guy. So he watched me carry the deer in the house and put it on the wall in a temporary spot. It was at THAT point he noticed another deer on the wall. He has been with us since March. Never a single time has he noticed my mounts. This is number 6 and now he has wandered around the last day and a half looking at the mounts and whimpering. Dude is totally wigged out!:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Probably the shear numbers of the mounts is what triggered him. He’ll be ok in a few days when he’s used too them. Wouldn’t make a big deal outta it until it goes on for a while. Kinda when your kid falls, you wait for them too react before stepping in. Go in too quick just to make matters worse so too speak.

Ok pearl and I just got back from the veterinary office. She has a clean bill of health.

I asked about the grain free dog food. She advised me that it could cause problems with the heart. Grain has some enzymes that helps the heart and suggested that I change. I asked what do you suggest. She said she sees no problem w purina or the pro plan. I said I used to feed science diet, she said it’s the #1 recommendation by vets in the us. The number 1 recommendation world wide is royal canin. That’s what I have to offer, has anyone else heard different?

Pearl sitting beautiful for a treat at the office visit.

Good news for Pearl! Pro Plan and Science Diet are what the local vets recommend.

I forgot to mention that Gunnar has the TOO event hangover and liquid shits when we got home, so he's been fully initiated to the group! As soon as I let him out of the truck, he sprinted for the grass and exploded rectally. :ROFLMAO: Then he slept for 2 days straight. I think we can all relate!
