Did the DOW publish the wrong dates for ML season?

The dates published for the ML season are Jan 7-10. However the Ohio Administrative Code says

(e) Statewide muzzleloading deer season is open from the second Saturday after New Years Day through the following Tuesday

The second Saturday is January 14.

I pulled my dates off the DNR website a week ago. I'd say that argument would hold up well in court.

I heard about this the other day... Word on the street is the DOW is still trying to figure out what to do... Either announce there was a mistake and publish the correct dates, or let it go... basically giving guys two MZ seasons. They better get their butts in gear....

And admitt they fugged up... hahahahahahaahah Funniest thing I have read all day. Maybe he will say. The acorn production was spotty with reds dropping one week, and whites the next.. So we had to have 2 muzzy seasons.

I been thinkin about this...let's say you take one first weekend....by checking it and indicating a muzzleload kill, you implicate yourself.
Same thing on second weekend.
And if you took one both weekends, you'd definitely show that you were violating the spirit of the law, if not the letter of the law.

Now my head hurts.

They better publish something.
