Seriously, Dean has watched them kill a LOT of fawns in his pen. It is perfectly legal to kill them if they are preying on your animals. An ounce of prevention...

I believe you, I've also heard they will take down adult deer. It's the first time I've seen them by my house. I see them in southern highland county every time I'm down that way. You are the first person I've heard say it's ok to kill them though.

Brock,the doe i shot in 2015 i was tracking it and when i got to the edge of a picked bean field their were around 10 of them already on my doe and it had only been 20 mins.
They had an eye plucked out and were already starting to open its ass end up.

That confirms what I found a few years back when I looked into it. I was hunting and seen them, I didn't know what they were until I researched it.

That paper/article is from a hometown news paper from up here in Salem....
