One of my best friends and former roommate got it done outside of Chillicothe yesterday.

32 yards
Triplepoint clovis (already been through a doe earlier this season).

The arrow was shattered but he put it on a new shaft and it's ready to go, broadhead shows no damage.

Here's what he said regarding the performance of the clovis.

Perfect - It exploded open on contact - folded in around the rib and reopened to shred the lungs and folded back against the rib on exit. Flawless zero damage to the head insane damage to the buck.

The rages I used to use would need new blades after a kill they woukd be all bent to hell because once they deploy they can't pivot

I used a crossbow tonight - shot was 32 yards. 481 grain arrow (using 125 grain head). But I also have them on my compound which 60lbs draw where I shoot a 567grain arrow and have tested them to 40 yards where they still drive tacks

I asked him, it was a pass through, the buck stepped on the shaft as it ran off breaking it into the pieces you see in the photos.
