Thanks for all the input. We have looked local, auto trader, craigslist. I'm putting the word out to some family down south, and I'll be expanding my online search.
Giles, thanks for the link. That's basically what I'm looking for, but I'm hoping to keep this at $4000 or under. If the frame is solid, and the cab is in decent shape, I can deal with a rusted out bed. I want one that's mechanically sound and I'll go from there with everything else.

No problem. When you said older, I figured you wanted the solid axle, am I right? I'll keep my eyes open as I have a sickness at looking at vehicles. Kinda like girls and puppies. I know I can't have it, but I gotta look anyways!

Some of those old 4 runners are bad mofo's. Especially if you can find a 5 speed

I do not. I just saw the add and thought of you Dale.

Does anyone have Badger's number? This thing isn't going to last…this is like a redneck finding a true General Lee in a barn.

I'll let him know

The guy from Athens just got back to me and is only looking for trades. We spent over four hours online looking at different Yotas last night, and quite a few wanted trade only.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the heads up. Ben, I thought about that four runner over night and I'm not sure I want an suv. I'm still giving it some thought, but I think I want to stick with a truck.

I did find a 94 with 117,000 with the 22r motor, over in Pa. He wants 4k obo. I'm waiting for him to get back with me.

Did he say what he was wanting to trade for? That sounds like an easy problem to deal with to me. If he wants a quad or whatever, have him pick one out and then you all meet up and do the deal.

Somethings not right, he's got a separate listing for this truck at $3500 and specifies he wants a Chevy truck for trade.

Thanks, but I'll keep looking.

First impression from pics...I like the Grey with 117,000 miles. Seeing is believing but just looks promising.

Hope it all works out for you.

Thanks Rick. As of right now it looks like we are taking a road trip tomorrow down to Lucasville. I've been talking with a guy down there who has a really solid '88'. It has more miles but has had quite a bit of work done to it and he drives it everyday. My bride and I will probably camp out in a motel tomorrow night and drive home Monday. Not sure if we will be driving back separate yet.

We appreciate all of your input and suggestions.
