We didn't kill an birds on this hunt, but it was my son's first time as the trigger man. He took a shot at a wood duck but it was wearing Kevlar and got away. The cool part was seeing him get that adrenaline charge, watching his hands tremble, and feeling his heart thumping out of his chest.
This one is from our 2012 NoDak trip. It was a ridiculous goose hunt. Talk about being on the "X" that morning!!! The icing on the cake is having Longdraw, who is a huge Buckeyes fan, remind us to do the good ole O H I O pose...
