Stressless ridgetop 'Spoil' food plot creation

Mooch and I dug a hole in that shale and sandstone spoil bank and stuck a black locust, cut off, tree in it and hung the licking branch in early Sep, took my SIL and my Niece on a little tour - just bumping the hell out of the property.

I think I've got the stand placement and movement dialed in on this, I need to add a stand on the West side to hunt a East wind but the guys enthusiastically like it in daylight lol...

Been a minute since I updated on this plot. Brought some cards home to check and came across this one that shows the overall length of the of the plot fairly well. Soil samples showed a heavy removal of P and K so amended that at turkey season after frost seeding in early March. Did not apply IMOX to this or other plots this year, letting the rye and crimson clover build OM and cut in June.
