I much cheaper hunting and practice round would to buy a Lee Precision bullet casting mold.
The cast bullet was designed to load in a regular plastic wad. My nephew has used them and they shot better than any store bought slugs and a whole lot cheaper.
Oh I know the cost of a mold and lead melting pot plus a shotgun reloader will turn some guys off but it won't take long to get the investment price back. A mold at about 22.00, lead pot at about 40.00, and a shotgun reloader press at about 60.00 is only 122.00 so you see it won't take long to pay for it if you want to shoot more than 1-2 boxes of slugs per year.
All three items are made by Lee Precision.
