In my case, I like them off as soon as possible. Once there down, the deer come prancing to the food plots.. They take too long grazing when the beans are still green!!!

Leafs are falling like no TOOmorrow around our place lately, plus I wake up TOO cool fog regularly this time of year. I live in creek valley.

Also, typically first thing in morning now, my old stiff bones will tell me TOO - autumn is right around the corner.

Watching your videos you can see the leaves falling quite a bit.... We’re losing some around here but not nearly like your area....

You haven't seen nothing yet!

Just one pile of several every year...

In about a month, I'll show you just how many leaves I actually deal with every year around here.

I have to believe it's my biggest annual chore and it sucks the 'Big Lebowski'!!!

Looks like you missed the colorful fall season and went right to brown...... 😂

That was a photo from last year as an example -

But trust me, it's something I'm not looking forward TOO at all!

I usually get most of the leaves taken care of just before the season starts though.

I don’t get many since we removed the guilty parties. Mother Nature (the wind) takes care of the majority....

I hate fall cleanup...usually last well over a month here. Zero chance I could let it build up and deal with it once. We try and mow as much as we can, but if it rains, that doesn’t work at all. The other 10 months it’s worth living in the woods, so it works out, we just deal with it.

I’m with ya Dave. I leaf blow, rake, tarp drag tons of leaves around the entire perimeter of our house every fall for nearly a month straight. I also have to blow off the roof as we have several dormers which creates eddy’s that keeps leaves from being blown off naturally by the wind. It’s a lot of work but our Woods are a blessing....😎👍🏻

I usually find tons fresh hickory hull cuttings in my yard by now. Any day now I’m sure I’ll come home from work and find they’ve started their ritual.👍🏻

You must not of been home lately or don’t have many nuts...I’m covered up in the damn things. Gotta mow away from the house for the rest of the year or take a chance at taking a window out!

Oh, I have tons of hulls on the ground with the nuts inside that have been falling for a month or so during strong winds and storms. Seemed the pignuts fell earlier than the shagbark too. I was meaning squirrel cuttings, the first day they start it looks like sawdust around several of our shagbarks.
Just tonight before mowing I had to move a shagbark bough that’d fill a small truck bed that snapped off because it had so many nuts on it. I’ll snap a pic tomorrow of the loaded hulls that fell off on impact.

Rare straight E wind here tonight and it's raining leaves. Our black cherry and black gums are dumping leaves by the bucket full. White pines have been dumping needles lately too. We still have some miserable hot days left, but there's definitely fall in the air this evening.
