Just a little FYI, after meeting with the funeral home, it became clear how much of a service my mother did for us by preplanning and paying forher funeral. Not just expense part but the ease that is made it. I didn't have to make a bunch of choices and decisions wondering what she would want.
I strongly suggest for those getting up in years to do your loved ones a favor and set up your arrangements.
