30 fish by noon today. Good bite out there.
Had Doug Aka Hedgelj yesterday along with his son and 2 buddies and their sons. We ran out about 12 miles and trolled with the east/northeast wind all day. The waves continued to build as the morning went on. We weren't able to turn around and go back over the fish when we caught some due to the wave heights. We covered about 14 miles of water and ended up almost to the toledo water intake. Pulled fish off and on the entire way with alot of short fish also. Ended the day with half a limit. Got into a decent bite near the end but had to wrap it up as the waves were building. The mayflies are in full force also which doesn't help with the bite.
It a a great day on the water, but the fishing was only okay but considering the conditions it was a lot of fun.
Trips the last 2 days. Got them in real close yesterday 11 to 12 feet and 19 to 21 feet today. Was a suicide bite today with spoons once we found the fish.
Been a while since I updated but we have been perch fishing lately. The perch bite is starting out very good. Best in years. Average fish are 8 to 9 inches now with bigger ones mixed in. I have plenty of openings in September if anyone is interested. I got this triple the other day.

Perch are on and have been for 6 weeks.
Real good bite for us the last 2 days despite the overall bite for most people was really slow. Yesterday we got 102 and today we got 107. 28lbs Yesterday and 31 lbs today. Got a bonus 20 inch walleye Yesterday also. Crew yesterday also kept about 40 white perch in addition to the yellows.
