I heard what I though was a deer walking in the creek. 
Next thing I see is a couple of bucks splashing around, chasing each other up and down the creek. As the smaller one passed by, it looked like the next one was going to take the same path. If he did, it would be the only open shot I would have....and he did. 
I came to full draw and he hesitated in the opening, just long enough for my Magnus Buzzcut to pass thru both of his lungs. He ran out into the bean field at about 40 yards, turned to look back and sort out what had happened. That's where he fell over. 
By the looks of his rack, he was a mean s.o.b.
I can't even believe it, myself. Shot a doe on Monday and this buck on Thursday.
Looks like I'll have time to do some goose hunting this year.
