A box of arrows and a couple clicks and pie plate group and people think they are dialed in. The things basically load and fire themselves now

Other than this stupid heat and humidity this year it’s been great. 25 min run from my dock to reach the gulf, fishing has been great. I like the quiet life where I live

Yesterday, I sighted in a brand new crossbow for my dad, who is recovering from shoulder surgery. After 4 shots, it was money. My 6 year old, who has never shot a crossbow and only shot a gun one time, got behind the trigger and hit a quarter-sized bullseye at 20 yards. Next shot, taken by his 9 year old cousin, put an arrow in the very same hole. That tells you all you need to know about hunting with a crossbow.

It's the worst time of year right now. Dog days of summer. Paying for it now but you'll still be enjoying the water in late October and in to December. That October bite is phenomenal. How are the gnats where you are in the fall and winter?
