What are you trying to kill? This time of year you'll probably scare more than you bring in. BUT, some does will get curious enough to come into range. I'd imagine a very young buck might as well.
If you do try it, let us know how it worked. I seen some scrapes opening back up lately. You may just get one to come in. Your odds are probably not AS GOOD as early rut but never say never.
