Dads gun buck

Awesome and congrats to you both. I never had a chance to hunt deer with my dad before he passed on. Just wasn't any deer in NW Ohio at that time in the 1950-60's. Cherish the happenings.

Congrats to your dad! So did the group next door let you know they jumped a buck onto your property or did you just put on a random push thru the pines and that big boy came out?

The sound travels real good in that big hollow and after a shot I heard a guy yell " $#&! that was a big buck " I never drive my property,I rely on natural movement and my 25 acre sanctuary and hope the deer decide to move. Maybe once or twice a year a 1 man slow quite push is all I do. This time it just worked out !!
