Thought of this thread as I drop kicked the A51 into the driveway while getting out of the truck this morning lol.

3yrs and 1 week of nonstop abuse on both mine and the Mrs., and they are still going strong. At this point, we are over $1K ahead. We won't be going back to flagship ones unless they run a deal or they're free.

I upgraded when we changed carriers. Basically the same as my old phone, just the upgrade. Camera is absolutely amazing and worth all $300 it cost me.

I got a Samsung A52 which is a cheap version of the Samsung..whatever S# was going at the time. It's ok, but glitchy as hell sometimes! Never had problems with our S models in the past. Would I get a non flagship model again? I have no idea how much phones are these days, but the frustration of the glitching is something I would have to think hard about compared to taking out a loan for the new phone prices!

I don't really know why, but I have always been an iPhone guy since getting my first smartphone. My iPhone 6S was still working fine ( but the battery life was getting annoyingly bad) after 6 years of use. Santa brought iphone 13's for both Nancy and I for Christmas in 2021, which was quite an upgrade for both of us being 5G capable, much more powerful than our old phones, and with phenomenal battery life and superior camera quality. Best phone I have ever owned.
