Had a little conversation with this fella in my hunting room last night . My first thought was wolf spider but the top colors on the body aren't what I'm used to . Maybe a barn funnel weaver? What say you spider guys

It definitely identifies as was/were according to my pair of muck boots
Surprised it doesn't identify as "flat"
With the size it was it could also be the eater of what rhymes with skeeter

Checking back in my pics I had this pic of the outcome of a spider bite... Doing swimming pool liners in the summer you would be amazed how many spiders under the old liner... All other bugs get a pass when found at home, spiders get a free pass to the other side.....
