2022 Rut Report. What County? Conditions?

I’m hunting a different chunk of property today. I have a buck with some history I’m chasing around like the one I shot last year except he’s quite a bit bigger lol

The farmers are kickin ass around here. 40 percent of the whitetails habbitat has been eliminated. No rain for awhile we should have some great lockdown pairs next week in full view tundra style. Not sure if im self employed or unemployed at this point but will guide for my kids part time and have a lot of time to run and stalk these nocturnal ghostly beasts as soon as they appear....when a fire cracker is lit and its burnt down until the end and that slight but overwhelmingly long feeling of hesitation until it goes off is where we are at currently....could be tomorrow or nov 12th we will see.

2 mature 8s tonight chasing does. Big ones have been been crusing more and more at night and hours are getting close to daylight. I would say by next week we will be in full rut mode
No deer were injured in this bean harvest. Neighbors daughter shot a doe while we were working this field. With so many EHD deer my cameras are lacking. Hit some public last week, looking for opportunity.
Some posturing on cam last night by the teenager bucks showing up around midnight.
Last night was the most active the cell cams have been. Multiple bucks cruising. Some new and some old faces.

I can't post any rut activity since I have yet to see a deer . Debating on cancelling my vacation next week and pushing it out another week. Not a fan of dragging them in 70 degree weather

Nice buck and several does at last light . He payed zero attention to them
After talking to another neighbor, number is up to 15 EHD dead deer. Haven’t had a single deer on camera in 3 days, in a annual hot spot funnel/ crossroads between a clear cut and nice hay fields.
Been hitting public spots, seeing very little rut type activity in Wayne. Anyone else hitting Wayne and seeing anything?
