Aaaawa. That is very sad news. Ted was a good man. The .17 I bought from him that J transported to me has even more meaning now.

He will be missed. Damn.

I always like Ted. We've been Internet buds for over 15 years. He was a real character at times and I'd always get a kick out of him when he went off about string guns (I got that term from him ☺) and good old coonskinner.

I met Ted once at an OASTA shoot. Our meeting was brief but meaningful. I'm gonna miss him and will keep his family in our thoughts and prayers.

My plans are (if I make it home in time) is too pick up Geezer and head to calling hours Sunday.... Like you I met ted in person after years if conversing with him on the internet and it left a lasting impression.... Great guy too talk about almost anything.... I have his 410 O/U and use it exclusively on my rabbit hunts....

Geezer and I made the trek down and back without incident..... And thanks again Geezer for the great company.... always a pleasure talking with you sir.....

Thankful for you guys making it there today. Wish I could have made it, but family duties called.

It was good too finally meet Hoot and Cathy, life gets in the way sometimes Jesse....
Ted had a lot of friends, and Geezer showed me a tradition that the trad guys do that I thought was so cool.... They each deliver an arrow with a message attached too some of them.... They're put into a vase in front of the coffin that you place it in while paying your respects..... He made an arrow for me with a leather patch attached and I wrote a personal note too Ted on it....

It was good seeing you again J. Nice to see y'all too Geezer and Brock. And ole hoot is always just that. A damn hoot. Shitty circumstances that brought us together bit it was good to chat. I saw Taylor inside but he was ahead of me in line and left before I was through.

I thought the arrow thing was really dang cool also. Never knew that was a thing. I laughed a little to myself thinking what old Cob would say if I threw an Easton axis carbon with 2 inch blazers in the vase. I can only imagine. Lol.
