How interesting cause the buck I harvested also had a slice through his right ear that I suspected came from a buck antler perhaps during the rut period.

Don't capture this too often. First pic in the 3 shot burst of pics. Such majestic creatures. This impresses me every time I see it happen. Not sure if I've ever gotten one mid flight before.
Must be a launch pad over there. Built in trampoline? I dunno. Weird. Same camera card pull.

I ended up seeing him on the hoof. He looked normal in person. I suppose it could have been rut worn, or weird body posture for the camera, or maybe he had Covid and is feeling better now.

I'm leaning heavily towards fox. Yet, looks too big to be fox, and touch small for coyote. The black front paws could be from walking up the creek bank close by. Tail looks wrong for coyote. Thoughts? I'll post recent coyote pics at same camera for reference. First pic is the coyote. Next two? Gotta be fox, isn't it?
