I've had this one for 4-5 years and use it a good bit. No complaints here.

when it comes to food prep tools and stuff, I'm a "go big or go home" kinda guy. buy once, cry once. I bought the Cabela's CG-15 back in 2004 or 2005,, and it has a permanent spot on my kitchen counter to this day. I can seal 15" bags with it, the seal strip is 1/4" wide. It is completely serviceable. I can replace every part on it including the vacuum pump. I've replaced the gaskets on the lid once and and the teflon tape on the heat strips twice. between deer, squirrels, fish, garden, sausage making, bulk meat purchases, and sous vide cooking we seal hundreds of bags a year of all sizes. I paid around $300 for it at the time, and if this one dies and cannot be repaired, I'll probably buy a small chamber type sealer as they have come way down in price in the last few years.
