Phil, nice and bright! Congrats on the score from the buddy, hell of a price. Whats your daily chin up count up to now?
Hasn't been used in awhile. Probably 8-10 if I went out and tried.

@Mike that is impressive! I can appreciate the planning, digging, and executing that took place. Great vision and implementation!

A few pictures from my weekend project here. Bad grade on the driveway leads to flooded garage. Well not anymore. Finished up my project this morning. Went a little cheap on the drains and didn’t go with concrete. Turned out nice though. 3 tons of river rock for the basins, 5 inch schedule 40 outlets for the pipe, teed together to drain out over my hillside 65ft. Haven’t had a true test yet but I’m thinking tomorrow we will see how well they work!

We have shebunkins (sp) in ours. They are colored similar to koi but not nearly as expensive. They have survived been in there for around 10 years so far. We started with 6 and had 9 the last time I counted last summer. We also added half dozen tadpoles. The frogs come and go. Usually spot them here and there.

When choosing plants and such be very careful what you go with. One of our biggest mistakes was planting aquatic mint. It is very aggressive and it takes a lot of work to keep it under control. Once it is established it is nearly impossible to get rid of. Trust me I would. 😂

A couple good Lilly pads will help control algae.

Dang. Makes my "projects" seem miniscule. I'm proud of hanging a few lights. You freaking trumped us all. "Made a hog pen. . . Out of a poplar I cut down and milled into lumber myself." I'm not worthy! 👏
This thread is one of my favorites on the site. Lots of talented guys on this site including you Phil! Lots of folks to learn a thing or two from around here for sure!
