Sadly, I have meat ducks. Need to change that I guess!
I had been grilling you for months now about the different benefits of animals to have around. Finally had some free time to look it up myself.

I’ll be comparing small meat animals next, I believe rabbits are the bees knees on that front. I’ll share what I learn on that subject.

During a soccer game this spring, I was talking to a tinfoil hat conspiracy prepper dude who told me that he'd seen the way to control rabbit breeding it put chickens under the rabbits. Have the rabbits in a chicken wire enclosure. The newborn rabbits will fall through the wire and the chickens will eat their babies. Kinda fucked up, but it would work for sure.

Rabbit is awesome, I’ve been raising rabbits since I was 14.

We raised rabbits for meat for years when I was a kid. The feeding and taking care of them was relatively easy other than winter. Was always a good dinner til I sat there one day and wondered out loud if it was a white one or a black one I was eating. Sis didn't care for that too awful much and was only a few years later we sold them all off.

I didn’t raise them, I just shot em. Canned em. Put em in the basement and opened a jar couple times a week. Low cholesterol, and you can do about anything too them when cooking.
Stew, gravy and noodles. I usually would get enough in season too last until the following season.

Finally put up the kick plate to it and the door knock.

Kick plate on one end was sticking out about 3/16th. So, I used the cut off wheel to cut it off to make it fit.

Door knock had two bolts which were good long so I grind them down 1/4 off to make it fit as well.

The blue paint that's around the door, few around the windows, and after taken the carpet out will be painting dark navy.

Meat goats are next for me. But the prices of them are unreal. People around here are proud of their goats to say the least. I can't tell whether they're fucking them or eating them, but the market is high!

If they are in Sgt Fury’s yard and you see the pair of boots on the edge of the pond, well you know the rest.
