seems to me this is a bad year for ticks, I have pulled several off me already. I was mowing today and pulled one off me in the front yard. I was happy I didn't run into more in the back field!

Anyone else notice this?

Do a search for "ticks" I started a thread a little while back about how bad they were this year. Some good info on how to deal with in it.

They are bad around here. The soccer coach sent a text to us parents a few weeks ago tocheck the kids cuz some had reported ticks after practice. I've gotten into a few fishing around some farm ponds. They don't eat much though

This is no joke, my boss woke up to one attached to the tip if his pecker. He felt it digging in. It actually drew blood.

Ticks, smallest thing in the freaking woods and I'm scared of them... I've been diagnosed with Lyme several years ago. Maybe that's why my joints hurt like hell sometimes... Been out in the woods several times this spring and have found no ticks on me so far... Sat. going hunting in an area thats loaded with them, so gonna spray down with Sawyers... Like we don't have enough ticks, a new strain of tick was found in Jersey last year and has been confirmed to have made it through the winter.....

Saw one in the blind this past Saturday while Turkey hunting in KY. Thankfully I had sprayed with Sawyers. There was a can of Brake cleaner in the blind b/c of wasps. The tick got sprayed.

There really hasn't been a down time for ticks lately. The last two winters they've been bad as well. I take my dogs out in the woods to shed hunt and they come back covered. This is in January and Feb. I think it is because spraying isn't done anymore. Maybe I'm wrong. Just seems there's a lot more nowadays versus 10 or more years ago.
