Back in the hospital. Went to go feed him breakfast and found him on the floor by the couch. Possibly a fractured pelvis. Haven’t heard anything yet. Storming here so that’s fitting. I will update later.

Actually wasn’t his hip. It’s at the top of his femur before the ball. He’s fixing to go in now. 1.5-2 hr surgery and an hour wait.

He did good and is back in the room. He’s sedated so he can rest. Tomorrow they said they will make him walk on it a little. He has 3 months of rehab

Hoping for a speedy recovery. I know with hip surgeries they want you to walk on in right away. My MIL broke her hip (probably very similar to breaking the upper femur) about 4 months ago and she is totally recovered...no pain at all. Hope your dads recovery goes as well.
Dang, sorry to hear of this latest setback. Did it ever come out as to why or how he fell? Thoughts and prayers to him and your family for a speedy recovery.
