FYI Tapatalk End of Support 12/31/18

I have always hated tapatalk. I do 100 percent of my posting from my phone these days. I think most current moble native version of TOO is great. Adding pictures is easy now with on the moble native version. The the difficulty of adding pictures was one of the main reason most people started using tapatalk on forums. Now that that is addressed i think most will be happy with the current TOO mobile format after they get used to it.

I was in the same boat. Only took me about a week to learn to navigate with the newest mobile version. Any problems I had joe or someone was quick to address or show me what I was doing wrong. No one likes change, but this one was for the better!

I use tapatalk as it's easy to keep all my forums in one app and browse from there. Understand what's going on and realize convience isnt always best. [emoji106][emoji106]

The biggest problem is their predatory practices. In the user agreement it gives them right to copy all of your content and publish it. There also trying to force all forum to use their tapatalk groups. Basically they push it as migrating to them and let them do the hosting. In reality at that point they then own everything lock stock and barrel and we're only admins. It's like migrating everything to a Facebook group. Judging by their past actions when they want something they're going to keep doing things to force forum owner in to it. This would be the same as if we migrated everything to a Facebook group and shut down TOO. While we would be an admin we would no longer own it, this just giving the site to them.

Tapatalk does not want to help forum owners better distribute the platform, they want then entire forum.
