@giles - For whatever reason I just saw this thread -- my helpful hint is a few months old - the Pond that got dug, A real treasure trove of good gouge is over at Pond Boss Forum - I've been able to discuss specific issues on my ponds with the moderators - both hold Dr's in fishery biology.

This thread in particular is the common Q&A for building, stocking, water management etc etc... -> https://forums.pondboss.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=postlist&Board=22&page=1

Pole barn is looking great - my add on that is run two circuits one for FULL WORK LIGHT and one you can dim when you're out chillin, or just want adjustable light in the man cave. Cheap if done when you plumb electric.

I'm dropping another meter just for the barn and running electric in the spring. So any helpful hints for that is gold.

The pond...we will see how that end up. If it stays the same, its basically going to be a natural pool.

Not much has changed. Some trim work went up and it turns out we had the wrong month for doors. January...so we talked and I don't want concrete poured until spring. I did go ahead and hang something making it mine though.View attachment 116161
