Just listened to that Bullfighting a Griz on Meateater today. It was a good story.

Most have been mentioned already. I also occasionally listen to the Primos Speak the Language Podcast, Cutting The Distance with Remi Warren, The Backcountry Podcast and Restless Native.

I’m also kind of partial to Shedding Light Hunting Stories Podcast for some reason. Host is a goober but his guests are awesome.

Haha! I’ll admit that the only one I’ve listened was jesses and it was awesome. I’m still trying to figure out how you guys actually have playlist. I’ve just been searching on YouTube for stuff. Is this an app you guys use or is this preloaded on my iPhone?

Depends on your phone. If you have an IPhone you can just use the podcast app. Hit subscribe and they download to your phone. If you don’t have Apple you can download podcast players like sticher or Podbean. Or you can also use Spotify or Google Play.

I’ll have to look into it some more. Seems like I seen something on my phone at one point. I might of deleted it though. I usually dump all the stuff I don’t use.

I don’t now how many of Travis’s podcast I’ve listened to, but I think you guys would enjoy them. I’m sure here in a week or two I’ll have listened to them all. I’d like to hear some of the @TripleA88 and @Jackalope adventures[emoji23]

I can also hear @triple_duece telling some stories.

Glad you’re enjoying it. And if any of those guys would want to come on...just send me a DM...we will set something up soon!

Like many of you, my mind has been spinning in circles and I needed a getaway this morning. It was nice to be able to click on something that wasn’t related to the world right now. I listened to jesses story. I had heard it before, read it before and still enjoyed it. Any of you that haven’t yet, I suggest you do the same. It’s a nice break from everything going on right now.

This will be a barometer for how bored you are, but I wanted to share for those curious enough to learn about one of Ohio's best mechanisms for job creation and that's port authorities. I run our county's port authority as my day job and was fortunate enough to share a little about who we are and what we do. Podcast appearance #2 is in the books!

Jesse, I tried to go to this link but it says "security error" - can I check this out on another platform?

Jesse, I listened to this podcast - super interesting!! I know that the draw for more companies to come to the area is key, but are there also focuses on how to increase business for companies that are already in the area? Also do you all have the population to support significant industrial investments, from a work force perspective or is that a barrier -I know that new business would need to compete with all the chemical companies, do you feel that is a deterrent for new business, as they believe the "good workers" are taken?

I am also curious if all the business are fully aware of all the varying govt. programs/bid opportunities that could be available for them. I know that for the company I work for, we are in a rural, hub zone area, and we are registered as a small business. This allows us to win govt. bids and solicitations. I could see value in that as somewhat of the "low hanging fruit" approach to helping existing business grow their revenue, which can result in more jobs, new hire needs, etc. Then a simultaneous effort in drawing in new business.

The work you do is truly helping people and it is inspiring. Thank you for sharing this podcast, I really enjoyed it. The socio-economic and logistical struggles that plague Appalachia are not small, but through hard work from men like you, they clearly can be eased.

Great stuff buddy.

Deer University - MSU Deer Lab (Mississippi) - one of the most respected deer research facilities in North America. All of them are fantastic but a few of the podcasts where they cover "hot button" issues and back it with science, is fascinating to me.

1. 034 - Want to Start a Supplemental Feeding Program?
2. 032 - Culling to improve genetics?
3. 008 - 009 - nutrition vs. genetics (2 part series) - this is my FAVORITE podcast episodes. For more information you can read book "Strategic Harvest Systems" by PHd. Bronson Strickland and Phd. Steve Demaris

Hope you all enjoy!
