Lost a cat today. No idea how. Pics look like he was caught pretty deep but he got out. Would of had to release it any ways. Pa is a one cat a year limit. Just don’t like that he got out of an mb550

If you’re still snaring/ trapping start setting doubles if the trail allows it. Caught a small, rubbed out female today. Missed her partner. This was the last snare I expected to catch one, sat open about 30 days.

Thanks, way back from Dec 17th.

Snare shape isn’t ideal and honestly neither is the trail but it had fresh sign back in Dec. Trail comes off of big ag field into woods. You can see why snow isn’t ideal to set traps in as it is rarely incognito. Tried to use the sticks to funnel em down and I guess it worked...30 sum days later. This snare is made from the black cable and it hasn’t faired the weather as well as the regular ones as it was “sticky”.

Look around the neck region. Lots of fur missing; you can see patches of missing guard hair that allow you to see undercoat. The only person who may buy a coyote like this would be Koyote Ken...even then it’s a far stretch.

Closed the snares down today. Would have liked to get a few more that have been running around my snares but oh well. Final check female.
