Anyone have any experience with the Nose Jammer Spray?

I used it while bear hunting. Reason I used it is because BIL said he was spraying it on trees when running baits.

Smells like vanilla to me. Was curious if any one has tried it for deer. I could see it being a curiosity type of scent. May try it out on some tree branches in front of a camera and see what the reaction is?

I know people that use it on their boots. He sprays mine we I go with him. He uses it even when he checks cameras and or feeds. I'd say the deer have him trained, lol. They gotta know that smell is him by now.

I had thought about it couple years back. From doing research, they say to spray it down by your stand to get them used the smell so when ready to go hunting. They won’t be so sketchy as much

I tried it several years back when I won a can at a league shoot I was in. Used it that season down in the big holla in a questionable stand as directed. Had two bucks two different times approach from down wind that seemed curious but turned tail before they got within 60 yards. I believe that was the year I ended up trying smoke.

I've never used this product, but when I went on a fall bear hunt in Ontario, I took a gallon of vanilla extract and a spray bottle. we ran our own baits on this hunt, and I sprayed that stuff everywhere when I set up my ambush and refreshed the bait, which was only one time. killed a bear on the first night. that bear came in sniffing around everything. I sprayed that vanilla up as high on every tree I could for a radius of 20 yards around the bait, all over the ground, etc. I was sitting there and it smelled like I was in a vanilla factory. heavenly. don't know if if helped me at all, but that bear got over his caution at the bait in record time. we were baiting with sweets mostly because there was no blueberry crop to speak of that year. I thought about trying it on deer just to see what would happen, but never got around to it. I have a friend who sprays apple juice on his boots and on the ground around his stand as a scent cover. claims it works pretty well.

I’ve used the stick and the spray. I have killed two mature bucks using it. You’ll laugh when you apply it. It wreaks of a Keebler Elves made cookie. Draws yellow jackets early season. Have had deer with discerning reaction of confusion and some that acted like their noses were jammed. Both applications stuck to my gear. It doesn’t seem right but I’m two instances I had bucks, outside of rut, cross my path and I would attribute it to NJ. I did not apply it to the tree as the instructions mention to do.
