Ok, what’s you got too have in the truck/car while on the road. In my truck are the following.

1. Tire plug kit.
2.Tire change kit.
3. Floor jack.
4. Battery operated impact.
5. First aide kit.
6. Fire extinguisher.

Those tire plug kits have really gotten fancy over the years. You can go basic all the way too wow, that’ll take care of pretty much every thing but a blowout…

I'm not as prepared for tire issues as I'd like to be, but I do carry a plug kit, compressor, and a bottle jack, in addition to the jack it came with. I have a 4' long bag under my back seat full of tools including a 1/2" socket set, hammer, pliers of various styles, and folding shovel. I also keep rain gear, FR coveralls, a waterproof blanket, and a safety vest. Other stuff in it include zip ties, duct tape, various sizes of cordage, tow strap w. clevis, and a couple different lights w. extra batteries. Other random stuff in the truck includes baby wipes/powder, basic OTC meds, holsters and extra ammo, bug/tick sprays, and a basic first aid kit. I always have my personal BOB in the truck with tourniquet and trauma lit, Life Straw, extra mags and back-up gun, and much more. Every vehicle I've ever owned has been outfitted in the same way. I view my vehicle as my "mobile command unit" and if I get stuck somewhere, what's in the truck should serve me well in getting home, or just surviving, in one way or another.

If you do a lot of traveling, especially with something attached too the back of your truck. This handy kit will be a lifesaver. Between the electric impact and this kit, you should be able too do whatever needs too be done, shy of adding heat.
Plus it’s a good kit for when you rotate your tires with it having a torque wrench.

The kit I carry has an electric impact and Jack. They have long cords that plugs into the vehicle outlets….all you need to do is push a button to raise or lower the vehicle with the Jack. I tested it and it works really well. I also carry a bottle Jack as a spare, along with a lug wrench and a piece of plywood to set the Jack on Incase the soil is loose/wet.
