I always release them. Don't know why but I have a soft spot for them.

Theres soo much fat on them too i recall. I think in the day when i trapped they were worth a whopping 3$

Joe, do u do any water sets or go for mink or mostly coon? Just curious of rat and mink prices. Rats were about 4 to 7 dollarrs and by far mink was best at 20 to 35 avg. On those.

Coon only. I'm doing this as a service for a conservation nonprofit that needs them thinned.

Both prices are in the crapper with mink not worth targeting due to ranch mink floodingng the market, rats will still sell but I want to say they average 3 bucks each.
