Been fortunate to draw another Kansas tag with my brother again this year. That's 3 outta the last 4 yrs. 6 outta 10. We've been blessed to shoot some good deer and meet great landowners that let us hunt on pretty much a handshake, thanks in part to a good buddy that lives there.
Early muzzleloader season starts Sept 12th, we'll be driving out on the 10th, scouting and meeting up with the landowners Sunday the 11th. Gonna stay until we each shoot a good one or get tired of it. Lol.

Awesome deer buddy. Sounds like you guys have had some good luck. Why does your brother look like those deer backed out on their promise to trade a debie cake for 5 smokes so he had to shank they punk ass. He looks angry at those animals. 😅.

His nickname is square jaw, always looking angry 😠. Lol. That last picture he is actually not very happy. Wanted me too shoot that deer, I didn't. We both thought it was bigger, it wasn't.

We'll be around Greensburg with PA license plates. Full of pheasants around there. Good luck to you.
Awesome!

I’ll be east of you checking out the WIHA in elk county. No idea if it holds chickens.

The area around greensburg looks good. Wish more crop circles were enrolled in WIHA

@Cogz Not sure yet. Hoping to take 2-3 weeks throughout the season to bounce around checking WIHA out for quail pheasant.

If anyone wants to bird hunt my place you’re welcome to it. It’s about 30 mins out from Hays KS which is a college town with all the hotels and restaurants you need to be civilized. There’s also a campground at Webster State Park just north of it. A creek from the reservoir actually runs through the property. And it has a lot of WIHA all around in big chunks. Our property has some wind rows, elevation changes, about 15 acres of phragmites and 100 acres of CRP.
